1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AnalyzeData at analyzedata.io (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AnalyzeData, operated by Ashesh Dhakal. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

AnalyzeData is a web-based AI data analysis and visualization platform. It allows users to upload structured data files (CSV, Excel, JSON, TSV) and receive AI-generated analytical insights, statistical summaries, and data visualizations.

The Service is powered by state-of-the-art AI models, which process a schema and sample of your data to generate insights. Files are parsed client-side in your browser and are not stored on our servers. We make no guarantee that the Service will be available at all times; we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers or premium features in the future, which will be subject to separate pricing terms communicated at that time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AnalyzeData only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. The following activities are expressly prohibited:

  • Uploading data that contains malware, malicious scripts, or content designed to disrupt or damage the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Uploading illegally obtained data, data you do not have the right to process, or data that violates any individual's privacy rights or applicable data protection laws.
  • Automated or programmatic access to the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage patterns, including web scraping, bot-driven requests, or systematic data harvesting.
  • Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, rate limiting, or access controls.
  • Using the Service to generate, distribute, or facilitate harmful, illegal, defamatory, or fraudulent content.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Using the Service in any way that could impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to users who violate these acceptable use guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Data: You retain full ownership of all data you upload or submit to AnalyzeData. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your data solely to the extent necessary to deliver the Service to you. This license terminates at the end of your session. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.

The Platform: All rights, title, and interest in and to AnalyzeData — including the website design, codebase, user interface, branding, trademarks, and proprietary algorithms — are owned exclusively by AnalyzeData and its licensor, Ashesh Dhakal. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, logos, or other proprietary information without our prior written consent.

AI-Generated Output: The insights, charts, and analysis generated by the Service are provided for your use. You may use AI-generated output for personal, commercial, or research purposes, provided such use complies with these Terms and applicable laws. AnalyzeData makes no representation about the copyright status of AI-generated content.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANALYZEDATA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated analysis or visualization.
  • Warranties that results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or reliable for any specific purpose, including business decisions.

AI-generated analysis should be used as a starting point for exploration, not as a substitute for professional judgment, domain expertise, or verified data analysis performed by qualified professionals.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANALYZEDATA AND ITS OPERATOR (ASHESH DHAKAL) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10 if you have not made any payments to us in connection with the Service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

7. Privacy

Your use of AnalyzeData is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we handle your information. The key commitment: your data files are parsed locally in your browser and never uploaded to our servers.

8. Rate Limits

To ensure fair access for all users and prevent abuse, AnalyzeData enforces rate limits on AI analysis requests. The current limit is 20 requests per day per IP address. This limit resets every 24 hours.

Rate limits are enforced at the IP level using temporary, anonymized records. Attempting to circumvent rate limits — such as by rotating IP addresses, using proxies, or other technical means — is a violation of these Terms and may result in a permanent block of your access to the Service.

If you have a legitimate use case that requires higher request volumes, please contact us to discuss your needs.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide additional notice on the site. Your continued use of AnalyzeData after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. If you disagree with any updated Terms, your only recourse is to discontinue use of the Service.
